LACROSSE, Wis. – A man was injured seriously in an early morning house fire on the South Side. Firefighters were called to the single-story home around 1:50 a.m. When they arrived at 5203 Mormon Coulee Road, firefighters were driven back by heavy smoke and heat from storage and debris inside the house. One firefighter was checked for injuries by paramedics and released.
