WINONA, Minn. – The Winona Walmart is readying free Co-Vid vaccinations through the new federal retail distribution system. The company said appointments can be scheduled soon online. Eligibility under current state guidelines:
> Minnesotans age 65 or older.
> Health-care workers.
> Long-term care residents and staff.
> Staff at pre-kindergarten through adult basic and community education programs
> Child-care staff at licensed programs.
The first southeast Minnesota Walmart participants: Albert Lea, 1550 Blake Avenue; Austin, 1000 18th Avenue Northwest; Lakeville, 20710 Keokuk Avenue; Owatonna, 1130 W Frontage Road; Rochester m, 3400 55th Street Northwest; and Winona, 955 Frontenac Drive.
