WINONA, Minn. – The County Health Departent is closing in on its goal to vaccinate all 800 teachers and school staffers against Co-Vid, said Ben Klinger, the county’s emergency management director. By the end of the week Klinger estimated, all but 200 will have gotten shots. In an interview on radio station KWNO, Klinger said that surrounding counties have finished vaccinating teachers. Why has Winona lagged? Klinger said that the state issued each county an equal number of doses. “Smaller counties are done,” he said.
