VERNDALE, Minn. – A child became tangled in a power take-off shaft on a farm tractor and was seriously injured. He was airlifted 140 miles to North Memorial Medical Center in the Minneapolis suburb of Robbinsdale. Wadena County Sheriff Michael Carr declined to release the child’s name. The child was mixing feed when the accident happened.
