BANGOR, Wis. – A Northfield, Minnesota, teenager was fatally injured when her vehicle overturned on Interstate 90. The vehicle rolled into the path of oncoming traffic and landed on its roof. The driver, age 17, died at a LaCrosse hospital. The State Patrol said she was speeding. A passenger, age 14, also from Northfield, was injured but not seriously. The Patrol declined to release the names. The accident occurred just before noon near the Bangor exit, 15 miles into Wisconsin from the Minnesota border. The vehicle was eastbound.
