STOCKTON, Minn. – A Stockton woman, whose name police didn’t release, reported that $26,000 had been removed from her Winona National Bank account. The woman said a telephone caller had claimed to represent a company that had deposited $30,000 to the account accidentally. For her trouble, the company wanted only $26,000 back, the woman said. Later she learned there never was a $30,000 deposit and that $26,0000 was missing.
