WINONA, Minn. — A power pole was reported somehow tipped sideways on East Second Street. Police closed the intersection. There was no arcing. Although the pole was at a 40-degree angle, firefighters determined that the wires to a nearby building were not damaged. The power company Xcel Energy cut power to the pole and sent a crew to push the pole back in place.
