ST. CHARLES, Minn. – Jeanne B. (Ploetz) Ferden, 89, of St. Winona County Farm Bureau, died at home. She graduated from St. Charles High School in 1949. With her husband she farmed near Troy. and later at Glenmoor Farms south of Utica. She and her husband were recognized as Winona County Outstanding Farmers. She was a member of the Minnesota Brown Swiss Association. She was proud of their Brown Swiss dairy herd. Jeanne was known for baking and was a repeat ribbon winner at the Winona County Fair.
