WINONA, Minn. – This is a seller’s market for housing, according to Winona County Recorder Bob Bambenek. Only 50 homes are for sale, compared to a typical 200, Bambenek said in a KWNO radio interview. Why so? He credits low-mortgage rates. These loans, some 2%, are historically low, he said. Bambenek said he’s had conversations with sellers who’ve had multiple offers within a couple hours of being listed.
