DAKOTA, Minn, — A Winona woman driving toward LaCrosse on interstate 90 ran into an exit sign on the Dakota off-ramp. Tamara Lennell Brooks, 24, was not seriously hurt but was taken to a LaCrosse hospital for a precautionary examination. The single-vehicle accident was about 5:10 p.m. Brooks was alone in a 2007 Chevrolet Impala. The airbag deployed, the State Patrol said.
