ST. PAUL, Minn. – Local authorities called in the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to find clues about huge fire that destroyed the upscale Seven Corners Gateway apartment-hotel construction site. Special Agent Terry Henderson said there is no reason to suspect arson but the possibility cannot be ruled out. The Bureau’s national response team has fire and explosive expertise, forensic chemists, and accelerant detection canines. The fire caused extensive damage to the five-story Marriott Courtyard hotel and the djacent six-story apartment stricture.
