ALMA, Wis. – A Buffalo County man was sentenced to 30 years in state prison for shooting his wife twice, in the head and chest, at their house in Nelson. Jonathan Medeiros, 38, was sentenced also to 20 years of extended supervision. In January, Medeiros called deputies that he had shot his wife. Deputies found him reeking of alcohol and his wife dead. Medeiros confessed then and there to shooting her twice.
