WINONA, Minn. – Four Winona Health volunteers have been honored by the Minnesota Association of Healthcare Volunteers:
Mary Breza. She revised processes for the gift shop in the hospital lobby to stay open. This involved scheduling, purchasing, pricing, bookkeeping, and showcasing merchandise.
Bev Keiper. At the hospital information desk as a greeter who screens visitors and trains new volunteers. She is in serves on the volunteer board of directors, co-chairs the annual Basket Bonanza fundraiser and assists with the Heartland Jewelry and Accessories sale.
Barb Pozanc. She organizes a walk-by window to help residents smile. She participated in a drive-by parade for employees and patients. She schedules and provides training to surgical waiting room volunteers. She assists with fundraisers.
Bob Williams. He provides healthcare directive presentations virtually and in-person. He is on the Winona Health governing noard as the volunteers representative. He chairs the Winona Health Foundation community engagement committee. He began volunteering in 2010.
