WINONA, Minn. – Food and games will be the theme for the renewed Big Muddy Brew’n Que at Levee Park this weekend. Organizers skipped last year because of the Covid pandemic. On Saturday will be beer and wine tastings and a grilling competition, said Ben Strand, manager of the merchants’ Winona Main Street Program. How about cornhole? That too, Strand said. The grilling competition features food from local restaurants but staffed by non-profit organizations to ease restaurants’ staffing shortages. The band lineup: Wheel of Fortune, Good Morning Bedlam and Dude Fresh on Saturday, and Heaping Spoonfuls and Ready Freddie on Sunday.
