WINONA, Minn. – Richard “Dick” Hopkins, of Winona, who taught business education and geography at Winna State University from 1957 to 1987, died at age 91. He grew up in Michigan and earned a degree at Michigan State Normal College in Ypsilanti. He did advanced work at the University of Michigan including all his doctoral courses. He was a lifelong musician and played guitar in dance bands at the Oaks and other Winona venues.
