WASHNGATON – U.S. Senator Ron Johnson has an impressive war chest for a 2024 campaign for re-election if he chooses to run. Johnson, a Republican, reported contributions of $3.3 million in the first half of 2021. The report, which is required by law, also listed $1.6 million in expenses. Neither John Berman nor Keith Neubert, who also are seeking the Republican nomination, reported any campaign financial information. Berman is an electronic hardware engineer from Washington state. He also has sought public office in Kanas. His eligibility to run from Wisconsin jus unclear. Neubert, of Pembine in Marinette County, is a former football lawyer with the New York Jets and Philadelphia Eagles.
