WINONA, Minn. – Word reached Winona that retired banker Neil Sawyer died in March in California at age 102. He joined First National bank in Winona in 1955. He became a vice president and trust officer and worked at the bank until he retired. He was active in Kiwanis and the local Junto Club. After retiring, he earned a master’s degree in psychology and worked with his wife, Ann, a Winona State University nursing prof, in her private clinical psychology practice.
