MINNEAPOLIS — A former probation officer was found guilty for her role in the 2019 kidnapping and murder of a Minneapolis real estate agent. On trial was Elsa Segura, 29. She was charged with luring Monique Baugh to a bogus home showing in suburban Maple Grove in December 2019, thus aiding in the kidnapping and murder of Baugh. Monique Baugh was found shot to death in a Minneapolis alley. Sentencing for Segura was set for November. In July two men were convicted to life in prison in the round-about scheme aimed at Baugh’s manfriend to get him pay up on debts to a drug-dealer associate. Baugh’s manfriend was shot and wounded during an altercation after Baugh was kidnapped.
