WINONA, Minn. – Police arrested a man and woman for a savage street daylight attack and robbery on the East End. Arrested were James L. Winn, 34, of Winona, and Katherine R. Poswiatowsky, 30. The victim was badly bruised in the attack and suffered a broken nose and chipped tooth. She identified Winn as the assailant, police said. The victim said she knew him. Winn was arrested on suspicion of felony first-degree aggravated robbery, gross-misdemeanor assault in the third degree, and felony domestic assault based on prior convictions. Poswiatowsky was charged tentatively with first-degree aggravated robbery.
