ORONOCO, Minn.—First-responders extricated a pregnant woman from her crumpled car after a collision with a truck five miles east of Oronoco.  Cassandra Jean Tiedemann, 26, of Zumbro Falls, was pinned in the wreckage more than an hour. Her airbag deployed. She was taken to St. Marys Hospital with injuries that deputies described as non-life threatening. The truck driver, Hassanur Ahmed Gessod, 20, of Minneapolis, was unhurt. The accident was about 8:30 a.m. at Highway 63 and Highway 247, known locally as “Reinke’s Corner.” What happened: Tiedemann was northbound on Highway 63 in a 2004 Buck Regal. Gessod was eastbound in a 2014 International straight truck east of the White Bridge.
