ELY, Minn. – John Edward Huntbatch, 48, of Ely, a truck driver at U.S. Steel MinnTac, died at the Ely hospital from Covid complications. He graduated from Winona High School in 1991 and went on to Vermilion Community College. He also worked for Brandau Plumbing & Heating and also Range L.P. Gas. He had special fondeness for fishing and camping in the Boundary Waters.
