LEWISTON, Minn.  – Robert John “Jack” Miller, 77, of Lewiston, a farmer fascinated by technology and who built a first-of-its-kind milk parlor in the area and continued using it 50 years. died at his home. He attended country school in rural Lewiston, graduated from Lewiston High School, and went to the University of Minnesota for agriculture. He loved windmills and said a farm without a windmill wasn’t really a farm. One of his last endeavors was erecting a windmill at home. He was on the Lewiston-Altura School Board, a township officer, on the First Security Bank board, and a seed corn dealer.
