CALEDONIA, Minn. — Two 16-year-old girls escaped serious injury when their car went off a curve10 miles northwest of Caledonia. The girls, both from Mapleton, were taken to a LaCrosse hospital to be checked over. Because of the girls’ ages, deputies deleted their names from public documents. They were in a 2007 Ford Focus on Highway 76 west of Holty Ridge Road. Pavement was dry. The accident was about 4:50 p.m.
