STOCKTON, Minn. — A Stockton man reported losing $3,500 in a scam call that his Social Security card had been found in a vehicle in Texas. The Stockton man told deputies that he was instructed buy $3,500 of Target gift cards over the phone to avoid a warrant being issued for his arrest. He said that he followed the instructions.
