ROCHESTER, Minn. – A man arrested with 227 pounds of marijuana in his pickup truck was sentenced to 5-1/2 years in prison. Jeffrey James Lawstuen, 47, had pleaded guilty in November to first-degree sale of drugs. He was arrested in August 2018, after being pulled over near Stewartville. Lawstuen had been driving to Rochester from California. In the truck police found 12 sealed packages of marijuana totaling 227 pounds. There also was a 9-millimeter pistol and three loaded magazines.
