WHITEHALL, Wis. – The woman whose body was found in the Mississippi River on Tuesday was Diana Bork, 61, of Independence. Sheriff Michael Schmidtknecht announced the identification. He said an investigation was continuing. The body was spotted by a fisherman upriver from Trempealeau, about 30 miles from Independence.
