WHITEHALL, Wis. – Authorities identified the body found in the Mississippi River off Mosquito Island on Tuesdsay but did not release the name until the family can be reached. Sheriff Michael Schmidtknecht said, however, the woman was 61. The cause of death remained under jnvest9gation, the sheriff said.
