WINONA, Minn. – The Winona School Board voted 6-1 to ask voters in April to borrow $86 million for renovations and facilities upgrades.

> Steve Schild (District 1, West End and bluffs)

His view: Wiser long term financially would be  razing old schools and building a single consolidated city-wide elementary school.
