WINONA, Minn. – A Winona woman who stopped at a residential intersection – and just sat there — ended up in jail. It was at Third and Chestnut about 11 p.m. that Gabriella Maria-Angelin Matzke, 25, was, well, just sitting there. Passing police officers decided to check out what was happening. Matzke seemed drunk, they said. Indeed, her blood-alcohol level tested at 0.16% — double what’s considered impairment. She was booked also for driving after cancellation of her license.
