STURGIS, S.D. – For bikers all roads lead to Sturgis, it seems. The annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally opened a nine-day run with perhaps 500,000 riders converging on this Black Hills town of 7,000 people for camping, boozing, gambling rumbling and concerts and taking pride in being with like-minded being enthusiasts. From east and west the most traveled route into Sturgis is Interstate 90 through Montana, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin. State police throughout the region issued motorist alerts to be especially aware of motorcycle traffic. In Styurgis just about every bar has live music. Headliners at outdoor venues include:

> Williams and Ree.
