WINONA, Minn. – Tradesmen installed new vents and rooftop fans for negative-pressure ventilation to more than a dozen patient rooms at the Winona hospital. The system was designed to prevent the in-house spread of the coronavirus. With negative pressure, viruses can’t float from one hospital room to another. The priority project, by Winona contactor All Trades Services, expanded the hospital’s negative-pressure capacity to accommodate 17 patients. The project was completed in one week.
