WINONA, Minn. — One thing can lead to another. Just ask John Claude Tharett III, 44, of Winona. Police went to his place in tthe 150 block of McConnon Drive on the Far West End to serve a warrant for a probation violation. They found two baggies with 4.1 grams of meth. The arrest was about 8:30 a.m. Police referred Tharrett to the county attorney on a charge of possessing a controlled substance.
