GOODVIEW, Minn. – Three persons were taken to the Winona hospital after a two-vehicle collision just north of Winona in a four-lane, divided, 55 mph zone on U.S. Highway 61. Police said the injuries were non-life threatening. The collision was about 5:20 p.m. at the 54th Avenue intersection. Police said a 2014 Ford Focus driven by Jayden Michael Jessie, 18, of Winona, was southbound into Winona, and a 2022 GMC Terrain driven by Melissa Susan Markusen, 53, of St. Paul, was northbound. The collision was in the north-bound lane police said. To the hospital: Marie Geraldine Markusen; Melissa Susan Markusen, 83, of St, Paul;; and a 15-year-old girl from Albert Lea. Jessie unhurt was unhurt.
