WASHINGTON – A bill for federal grants to women who need money to travel long distances to terminate a pregnancy was introduced by Senators Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin and Patty Murray of Washington. Both are Democrats. The bill would authorize $350 million a year to be administered by local non-profits.
