MANKATO, Minn. —Three adults were arrested for supplying fentanyl-tainted pain-killers to juvenile who went into overdose. The juveniles, all teens, survived although one of them remained hospitalized. Arrested on search warrants about 5 p.m. as they were leaving a house they were known to occupy were:
Patrick Orerigho Isiakpere Jr., 31, who had been released recently on firearms violations.
Damarcus Deontay Holloway, 26, also released recently on illegal firearms and controlled substances charges.
Tina Renee Schwichtenberg, 35.
Agents of the Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force said they seized 377 M30 oxycodone pills, plus cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana and two firearms, in Isiakpere and Holloway’s possession. The symptoms of the three juveniles were consistent with exposure to M30 pills, which often are laced with fentanyl for extra kick. The fentanyl additive is incredibly potent and unpredictable. Only two milligrams of fentanyl , the size of a few grains of salt,can be fatal. The fentanyl is fused into the counterfeit pain-killer oxycodone in unregulated underworld drug mills.
