WINONA, Minn. – Gerald “Jerry” Wehrenberg, 91, of Winona, who managed Great Surplus stores in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa from 1957 to 1996, died at Beehive Homes in Maple Grove. He was a West Salem High School graduate. He was in the U.S. Army in the Korean war with an anti-aircraft artillery unit. He was a member of West Salem American Legion post for 58 years. In Winona he golfed at Westfield.
