WINONA, Minn. – A Winona man was found injured on a sidewalk near the Market Street Tap a little after closing time. The man, age 38, had a cut under one eye, police said. He was taken by ambulance to the Winona hospital. The man told police that he didn’t recall being assaulted and didn’t know whether he had ben robbed. The first officer on the scene had been hailed down a couple blocks away and told there had been an assault.
