CHIPPEWA FALLS,Wis. – Although a subsidiary of global brewing company Molson Coors since 1988, the Wisconsin brand Leinenkugel will remain with a family member in the corner office. Tony Bugher, nephew of retiring president Dick Leinenkugel, has been appointed to take over. Bugher, who is 45, joined Molson Coors in 2014. He is a sixth-generation Leinenkugel. Bugher recently has led a pilot brewery project in Chippewa Falls that begins this spring.
