WINONA, Minn. — Police arrested a Winona man, Brandon Marques Pierce, 23, after a mug was thrown at a woman, who later arrived at the hospital with leg cuts. The mug had disintegrated into jagged pieces on impact. The arrest was about 6 a.m. at an apartment in the 250 block of East Sarnia. Police recommended that the county attorney draw up charges of domestic assault causing harm.
