WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State University undergraduate program in general engineering has won endorsement from the Engineering Accreditation Commission. The agency had been asked by the university for a peer review. An accreditation team evaluated curricula, faculty, facilities, and institutional support. Accreditation means hen program meets standards to produce graduates ready to enter critical technical fields that are leading the way in innovation and emerging technologies, said Sarah Phan-Budd, chair of physics at Winona State.
