WINONA, Minn. — A 36-year-old man was arrested at a home near Homer where his father had been assaulted, police said. The son, Ivie Thomas Popplewell Jr., was taken to jail and booked for domestic assault causing fear and harm. The incident was reported about 1 a.m. in the 500 block West Burns Valley Road. The father had face and scratches but declined medical treatment, police said.
