MEDFORD, Wis. — A vehicle crashed into an Amish buggy carrying 10 people, seriously injuring nine of them, on a county road just west of Medford. Taylor County Sheriff Larry Woebbeking did not release the victims’ names. The accident was about 2:45 p.m. on County Road E, which runs north-south two miles west of Medford. Taylor County Sheriff Larry Woebbeking said that the buggy was rear-ended by Skyler M. Oplet, 35, of Medford. Opelt was taken into custody and held on a probation violation, the sheriff said.
