LACROSSE, Wis. — A LaCrosse bar fight in April has led to a criminal assault charge against an Arcadia man. The prosecution against Alan M. Soliem,32, had been put off until it was determined that the victim would survive and was able to be interviewed. Now that Solie has been charged, police began trying to locate him. The charge: Aggravated battery with intent of bodily harm, a felony. The incident was April 9 outside the Helm Bar in the downtwn Third Street bar district. When police were able to interview the victim, he said he remembered Solie in the bar but not much more. Witnesses told police that the victim had known Solie two or three years and that he ridiculed Solie’s time in the military. The victim police he didn’t recall those details.
