DESOTO, Wis. – The Army Corps, which controls Upper Mississippi navigation, plans a shore stabilization project at Black Hawk Park on the Wisconsin side upstream from its Harper’s Ferry dam. Seven sites were damaged in 2023 floods. The Corps has invited public comments on environmental effects on fishing and other activities by Mach 26. Details.
