UTICA, Minn. – Deputies found Isaiah Michael Berndt, 25, of Lewiston, where he had driven off County Road 39 north of Utica and struck a mailbox. They said he displayed signs of impairment and was later confirmed to have a .17% blood-alcohol content. The threshhold for drunkenness is .08%.He was arrested and referred for driving while intoxicated and driving after revocation. The accident was at County Road 39 and Border Line Drive about 8 p.m.
