PINE ISLAND, Minn. – A pickup truck merging into Highway 52 south of Pine Island collided with another southbound vehicle. A passenger in one vehicle, Judith Ann Gerdts, 76, of Rochester, was treated at a Rochester hospital and released. Sylvan Geirge Grdts, 80, of Rochester, in a 2016 Bucik LeSabre, was unhurt. Also unhurt was the pickup driver, Jesse James Hoeschen, 40, of St. Cloud, in a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado.
