ST.PAUL, Minn. – The state crime lab confirmed the identity of the man who died after being shot by police in Rochester over the weekend. He was Joshua Clayton Hippler, 27, of Rochester. He died of multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso, the state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension reported. Hippler was shot while charging police officer with an axe. An axe aand a knife were recovered at the scene.
