BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. – A woman robbed the Jackson County Bank’s motor branch on Highway 54 off the Interstate 94 exits. Police responded to an active hold-up alarm about 5 p.m. The suspect had fled already. A teller said the woman handed her a a note to turn over $3,000. The woman’s face was partially obscured inside a hoody. The teller described her as a white woman between 5-foot-6 and six feet and 160 to 185 pounds. She was wearing a black stocking hat, a black hooded jacket, and black pants. The teller said she didn’t see any weapon. Per industry protocol, the bank released the amount of cash only to police.
