EYOTA, Minn. – A Rochester motorcyclist was killed and his passenger critically injured in a collision with a truck and semi-trailer. The biker, Bret Dennis Christopher, 49, died outright, The passenger, Lori Jean Danielson, 48, of Rochester, was rushed to a Rochester hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police said both the motorcycle and truck were northbound on State Highway 42 near the railroad crossing on the West End entrance to Eyota. Both were headed to State Highway 14. The accident was about 6:25 p.m. The truck driver, Matthew Lowell Mueller, 30, of Lewiston, was unhurt. He was in a 2022 Volvo tractor unit pilling a Kwik Trip tank trailer.
