BLUE RIVER, Wis. – An overnight guest and a 12-year-old boy died in a weekend house fire, and a and a 14-year girl died two days later in a Milwaukee hospital. Sheriff Nate Dreckman identified the fatalities, all from Blue River, as:
> Andrew Brown, 33.
> Fredrick Hurley, 12.
> Barbara Hurley, 14.
One child, Francis Hurley, remained in critical condition at a Madison hospital. Released from the hospital were Gilbert Moe, 38, and Jenny Moe. 36. A relative said the Moes lived in the house with five children. Another child, a visiting nephew, escaped through a window and was being treated at UW-Madison. The state fire marshal was in town to figure out what caused the fire.
